Sandra Sue Edwards

Ms. Sandra Sue Edwards, 73, of Cana, VA, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at her home.  Ms. Edwards was born November 28, 1944, in Carroll County, VA, one of three daughters born to the late Oscar Clarence and Rushie Eliza Jane Vaughn Edwards.  Sandra retired as the office manager from Hicks Ford in Hillsville, VA, and was a member of Rocky Ford Christian Church.  She is survived by a sister, Geraldine Jane Edwards Brady of Mount Airy; a niece, Lisa Brady of Mount Airy; and two great nieces, Heather Brady of Mount Airy and Hannah Brady of Dobson.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Edwards was preceded in death by an infant sister, Lovonda Irene Edwards; a brother-in-law, James Albert Brady, Jr.; and a nephew, Darren James Edward Brady.  The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Tony White officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rocky Ford Christian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
