Sandra Dee Edwards

Mrs. Sandra Dee Carter Edwards completed her earthly pilgrimage Saturday, April 9, 2022, and is now in her heavenly home.  She exited this world from the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.  Sandy was born August 13, 1962, to Barbara Murray Carter and the late Billy Carter.  In addition to her father, Sandy was preceded in death by a brother Wade Carter and sister Patsy Bowman.  Sandy is survived by her husband Randy H. Edwards; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Keshia Edwards; daughter and son-in-law, Charity and Jeff Edwards; a niece who is like a daughter, Brooke Livengood and her husband Brett, also a nephew who is like a son Jace Bowman, and several other nieces and nephews.  The grandchildren who always brought a smile to her face and lit up her life, Isaiah Edwards, Layla Edwards, Myles Edwards, Jude Edwards, Neely Grace Edwards, Brode and Brewer Livengood and Brennan Bowman.  Sandy is also survived by a sister Brenda Creed; a brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Melissa Carter; and an Aunt Brenda Sue Durst.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Edwards and Joshua Edwards officiating.  Burial will follow in the Susie Hawks Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church Monday, April 11, 2022, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 217 Faith Baptist Church Way, Mt.
