Sandra Kay Hundley

Ms. Sandra Kay Hundley, 60, of Cana, VA, passed away at the Hillsville Health and Rehab, Saturday, February12, 2022.  She was born in Surry County, NC, February 16, 1961, to the late Paul Clarence and Betty Lankford Hundley.  Ms. Hundley graduated from Mt. Airy High School in 1979.  She had no children but loved all her nieces and nephews as her own.  She loved her family and friends and cherished her time with them.  Ms. Hundley is survived by her sisters, Carolyn Spraker and husband, Tom, Doris Edmonds and husband Barry; and her brother Leon Hundley and wife Vicki; nephews and spouses, Jonathan Poteat and Nicole, Brandon Poteat, Sr. and Tina, T.J. Spraker and Chaistine., Zach Spraker and Alicia; nieces and spouses, Misty Vawter and Mike, Dwan McMillian and Wayne, Tabitha Johnson, Chelsea Duncan and Lincoln, Tiffany Fulton and Lee; several great nieces and great nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy with the Rev. Jeremy Morton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Red Bank Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service, and at other times at the home of her sister, Carolyn Spraker.  The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of Hillsville Health and Rehab, and Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care for the wonderful care given to Sandra during her declining health.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
