Sandra Mae Mundy

Ms. Sandra Mae York Mundy, 74, of Mt. Airy, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center, Sunday, December 27, 2020.  She was born in Surry County, July 6, 1946 to the late Howard York and Clara Stone York Woodard.  Ms. Mundy was a loving, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and James Burke; her son Dwayne Goins; stepsons, Curtis Mundy and wife Melissa, and Tim Mundy; her grandchildren, Hunter Burrell, Clara Burke, Jessica Elliott and husband Eddie; several step-grandchildren; a great-grandchild Tyler Elliott; her brothers, Billy York, and Ricky York, and wife Lisa.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, December 31, 2020 with Pastor Sammy Lawson officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
