Sandra Gail Deatherage Reynolds

Mrs. Sandra Gail Deatherage Reynolds age 52 of 363 Fireside Lane, Mount Airy, wife of Richard Reynolds, Sr., passed away on Monday June 23, 2008 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Reynolds was born in Forsyth County to the late Robert Deatherage and Mildred Matthews Deatherage and had been employed at Spencer's Inc. Surviving are her husband, Richard Reynolds, Sr. of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard Reynolds, Jr. and Jenifer of Mount Airy and Christopher Reynolds of the home; two grandchildren, Malori Reynolds and Austin Reynolds both of Mt. Airy and three step grandchildren, Jamie Bowman, Shane Bowman and Cody Bowman all of Mt. Airy, a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Rodger Hegler of Mount Airy, several special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by a brother, Benny Matthews. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 27, 2008 at Holly Spring Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Toddy Byrd. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Thursday night at Moody Funeral Home of Mt. Airy.
