Sara Anne Scott

         Mrs. Sara Anne Hutchens Scott, age 28 of Stuart, Virginia passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  She was born in Patrick County, Virginia on August 30, 1990 to Clyde “Danny” Hutchens and Judy Light Hutchens.  She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, L.D. Light and Magalene Allen Light; and paternal grandparents, Clifton Hutchens and Dorothy Duncan Hutchens.

         The family would like to recognize Sara as a hero, as she has given many others a second and better chance at life with the gracious gift of her organs. Although Sara is not here with us any more, she will always live on through the gifts she has given.

         Sara is survived by her husband, Brian Lee Scott of Stuart; four children, Gavin Marot, Jayce Pascale, Lennox Scott, and Addilynn Scott; her mother, Judy Light Hutchens of Stuart; one sister, Sheila Hostetter and husband, Zack of Lawsonville, North Carolina; one brother, Dwayne Hutchens and wife, Christy of Lawsonville, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; many cousins and dear friends.

         A memorial service for Sara will be held at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Tommy Nichols officiating.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Sara H.
