Sarah Frances Jessup Collins

Mrs. Sarah Frances Jessup Collins passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Universal Healthcare in King.  She was 96 years old.  Mrs. Collins was born in Surry County on November 10, 1925, to the late Luther Absalom and Alice King Jessup.  Left to cherish her memories are a sister, Nina Reeves; nieces and nephews, Bunny Brown (Carlton); Eddie Reeves (Amelia), Mary Alice Culler (Danny), John Davis, Tim Davis (Lysa), Mark Davis (Judy), Lynn Reeves, Teddie Dyson, Deb Berg (Alan), Becky Kafer (Bill), John Collins (Peggy), Charles Collins (Kay), Bill Myers (Sharon) as well as many great, and great-great nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Lee Collins; sisters, Nona Dyson, Nita Davis, Marie Wolfe; nieces and nephews, Buddy Collins, David Melton, Jimmy White, brothers and sisters in-law, Cecil Collins (Mable), Hal Collins (Maxie), Chris White (Ralph), Versie Melton (Clarence), Rachael Myers (Gilbert), James Collins.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Albion Community Church with services conducted by Rev. Danny Culler.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  There will not be a formal visitation.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Mrs. Collins to Albion Community Church Cemetery Fund, 1212 Ararat Rd, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
