Sarah Frances Frasher

Mrs. Sarah Frances Howell Frasher, 80, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 28, 2018, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.  Mrs. Frasher was born October 2, 1937, in Maysville, KY, the daughter of the late Raymond and Anna Craft Howell.  Frances was a homemaker and a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Winston-Salem.  She is survived by three daughters, Tamara Yokely of Winston-Salem, Rebecca Horton of Charlotte, and Jennifer Frasher of King; a son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Elizabeth Frasher of Pinnacle; six grandchildren, Kelsea Yokely of Winston-Salem, Hannah Horton of Wilmington, Kristin Horton and Alyssa Frasher, both of Charlotte, and Brynn Frasher and Emma Grace Frasher, both of Pinnacle; a sister, Judy Howell Bear of Sciotoville, OH; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Frasher was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Glenn E. Frasher, former pastor of Northside Baptist Church and Freedom Baptist Church; three sisters, Barbara Howell Tumbleson, Betty Howell Teeter, and June Howell Williams; and a dear friend, Hucie Lawson.  The family will receive friends Sunday, July 1, 2018, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  The funeral service will be held Monday, July 2, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Woodland Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tim Gammons and Jonathan Frasher officiating.  The family will also greet friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 until 10:45 AM.  The burial will follow at 2:30 PM Monday afternoon in The Peoples Church Cemetery in Mount Airy.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the Woodland Baptist Church, 1175 Bethania-Rural Hall Road, Winston-Salem, NC  27106.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
