Sarah Quilling Lemke

Sarah Quilling Lemke, of Tomahawk, WI passed away on her 101st birthday at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart, VA. She was born March 16, 1916 in Menomonie, WI to the late Fredrick and Fannie Quilling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel C. Lemke, Sr.; twin sister Jane Podvin; sister Virginia Fenner; brother, Fred Quilling and sister Helen Schielke.

Mrs. Lemke is survived by her daughter, Maxine (and Don) Payne of Acton, MA; her son, Darrel (and Phyllis) Lemke, Jr. of Stuart, VA; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Lemke and her husband both taught and retired from the Milwaukee public school system. They lived out their retirement years in Tomahawk, WI.
