Shayne Crue Martin

Mr. Shayne Crue Martin, age 29, of Mount Airy, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025. He was born March 16, 1996, in Surry County, NC, to the late Gregory Keith Martin and the late Lisa Annette Boles Martin. Left to cherish his memories are his son, Redding Crue Martin; his son's mother, Ivy Riggans Martin; half-brother, Terry Chad Key; grandfather, Herman Lee Boyles; uncle and aunt, Grayson and Tammie Boles; uncles Randy Boles and Jeff Martin; godmother, Melanie Poteat; cousins, Brittany Marion, Megan Boles, and Melanie Boles; and nephews, Vincent Key and Colt Key.

Crue was a loving father, loved motorcycles and his fellow bikers, was a hunter safety coach, and an avid outdoorsman. Visitation will be Friday, April 18, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Moody-Davis in Dobson. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 19, 2025, in the Venable Keaton Cemetery with Rev. Larry Jones and Rev. Bruce Hodges officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of his son, Redding Crue Martin, at 625 Smith Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Martin family.
