Sheila Lee Thomas Butcher Inscore

Ms. Sheila Lee Thomas Butcher Inscore, 46, of Dobson, passed away Monday, April 4, 2011, at her home. She was born March 19, 1965, in Surry County, to Roy Thomas and Jewel Gentry Thomas. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Cross Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Keila Butcher of Winston-Salem; her father and stepmother, Roy and Kay Thomas of Mount Airy; her mother, Jewel Gentry Thomas of Mount Airy; a grandson, Keimarii Butcher of Winston-Salem; a sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Mark Johnson of Mount Airy; a brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Regina Jessup of Mount Airy; and her grandmother, Virginia Marshall of Mount Airy. Ms. Inscore was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lawrence and Wilma Gentry and Harvey Lee Thomas. The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 7, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Baptist Church, with the Rev. Butch Holder and the Rev. Chris Benfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive Wednesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
