Shelby Jean Fallin

Mrs. Shelby Jean Dunlap Fallin, age 74, of Pinnacle, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at her home.  Mrs. Fallin was born in Moore County on July 14, 1944, to Aubrey Dalton and Esther McIntosh Dunlap.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.  Among the many who will always cherish her memory are daughters and sons-in-law, Patti and Bobby Hoots, Linda and Teddy Flippin; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Lesa Fallin; grandchildren, Brandi Lawson, T.J. Flippin, Matt Lawson, Jenny Mendoza and husband Danny, Sarah Fallin, Michael Smith and wife Samantha, Sidney Smith, and Dwayne Hoots and wife Debbie; a great grandson, Van Smith; sisters, Rachel Moore and Sarah Hussey; sisters-in-law, Mary Lee Owens, and Marie Dunlap; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry Wayne and Frances Fallin; several nieces and nephews and special friends Pauline Creed and Artie Edwards.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fallin was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Fallin; sisters, Catherine Key and Dorothy Wright and brothers, Doug Dunlap, Kenneth Dunlap and James Dunlap.  A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Pine Hill Friends Meeting Cemetery by Rev. Anthony Gordy.  The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home beginning at 11:00.
