Shelby Darlene Harris

Ms. Shelby Darlene Harris, age 45 of Stuart, Virginia traded this earthly life for eternal life at her home on January 29, 2023.  She was born on December 2, 1977, to David Lee Harris, Sr. and Olivia Faye Lawless Harris.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica LeAnn Hankins; and one brother, David Lee Harris, Jr.  Shelby will be remembered for her kind loving heart. She loved her brothers, family, friends, children, and spending time with her loved ones.  She loved music and attending church when she was able.  No matter what Shelby had going on in her life, she never lost her faith.

Left to cherish the memory of Shelby Harris are four brothers, Walter Ray Trent of Patrick Springs, Virginia, David Wayne Trent of Patrick Springs, Virginia, Jason Lee Harris of Critz, Virginia, and Bruce Alvin Harris of Patrick Springs, Virginia; two half-brothers, Donnie Daniel of Rice, Virginia, Ty Lee Surrett of Stuart, Virginia; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

A celebration of life service for Shelby will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Abiding Grace Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jamie Stokes officiating.  Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is serving the Harris family, and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
