Shelby Jean Simmons Seats

Mrs. Shelby Jean Simmons Seats, age 73, of Pilot Mountain passed away Wednesday evening, August 28, 2024, at her residence. Mrs. Seats was born February 23, 1951, to the late Ramon Jackson Simmons and Dorothy “Dot” Lillian Pike Simmons. She had a deep passion for horseback riding and loved riding the wagon train trails. She will be deeply missed by all who know her, even her special fur baby “Mollie”. Surviving Mrs. Seats is her daughter, Kristine Webb of Saratoga Springs, NY; grandchildren, Phoenix Martens of Saratoga Springs, NY, Indi Martens of Saratoga Springs, NY, Hudson Martens of Mount Airy, NC; niece, Caroline Kelley; nephew, Jackson Kelley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Seats was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Seats. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Skyline Memory Gardens at 2 PM with the Dr. Jonathan Casstevens. Per Mrs. Seats wishes there will be no formal services held at this time. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Seats family.
