Sheller Sechrist Goins

Mrs. Sheller Sechrist Goins, age 68, of Mount Airy, passed away October 15, 2024, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Goins was born in Surry County on February 1st, 1956, to the late Tommy Sechrist and Naomi Hicks Sechrist. Mrs. Goins was a Registered Nurse for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and friend, she’ll be deeply missed by all that knew her. Surviving Mrs. Goins is a son and daughter-in-law, Donald Goins and Amanda; grandchildren, Zack and wife Mazie, Alex, Montana, Haley, Brittany; great grandchildren, Hayden, Harley, Waylon; her best friend “sister in heart”, Belinda Elmore. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goins was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Joel Goins; sister Judy; brothers, Lyle and Junior. A celebration of Mrs. Goins life will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Glory Bound Community Church at 2 PM with the Rev. Charles Stevens officiating.
