Sheryl Ann Bondurant

Mrs. Sheryl Ann Bondurant, 74, of Ararat, VA, passed away at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Friday, January 7, 2022. She was born in Surry County, January 22, 1947, to Emma Lee Bateman Shropshire and the late Robert Alexandria Shropshire. Mrs. Bondurant was a devoted Christian woman. She loved her family, church family, and many friends. Mrs. Bondurant was a faithful member of the Salvation Army Church. She drove a tractor-trailer along with her husband for many years with various trucking companies including WLA and Hardy Brothers Trucking where she retired. Her memory will be treasured by her children, Evelyn Bondurant Doerner and husband Delmer, Lisa Bondurant, and John David Bondurant; grandchildren, Hawss, and Huston Roberts, Laurie Waite; a great granddaughter, Molly Ann Wyman; a half-brother, Gene Paul and wife, Janice. In addition to her father, Mrs. Bondurant was preceded in death by her husband, John Mack Bondurant, a daughter Martha Bondurant Waite; and a grandchild, Bronson Waite.
