Shirley Ann Roberson Trent

Ms. Shirley Ann Roberson Trent, age 87 of Stuart, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at her home. She was born in Patrick County on June 22, 1934 to the late John W. and Audrey Reynolds Roberson. In addition to her parents, Ms. Trent was preceded in death by a daughter, Audrey Williams; a son, Gary Burnette; a grandson, Wayne Williams; five brothers, James, Frankie, Ray, Gilmer and Murray Roberson; a sister, Charlene R. Williams; and her step-mother, Crystal Fain Roberson. She retired from DuPont with 20 years of service and was of the Christian faith.
Ms. Trent is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Ricky Rorrer of Patrick Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Len and Tiffany Trent of Ashland, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Matthew Rorrer, Lucas Trent, Kylie Trent, Rebecca Goransson and Jessica Conway; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Johnnie B. Roberson of Stuart; several nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law; and numerous extended family members.

A private graveside service will be held for Ms. Trent. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for the Roberson Family Cemetery to Annetta Lind, 1074 Dobyns Road, Stuart, Virginia 24171.
