Shirley Ann Hawks Isaacs

Ms. Shirley Ann Hawks Isaacs, 48, of 130 Chestnut Oak Lane, Elkin, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008, at her home. Ms. Isaacs was born December 18, 1960, to Violet Crotts Hawks and the late Raymond Allen Hawks. Shirley was a sales associate at Big Lots in Elkin. She is survived by two sons, Larry Wayne Hawks of Princeton, WV, and Matthew Douglas Johnson of Mount Airy; two grandchildren, Lakyn Hawks and Kaley Hawks; her mother, Violet Crotts Hawks of Lowgap; a sister, Tina Edwards of Lowgap; and two brothers, Buddy Allen Hawks and Vestal Junior Crotts, both of Lowgap. In addition to her father, Ms. Isaacs was preceded in death by a grandson, Wiley Allen Hawks. There are no local services planned. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Isaacs family.
