Shirley Stout Kearns

Ms. Shirley Stout Kearns age 68 of 120 Sydnor Street, Mt. Airy, NC passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born February 20, 1939 in Alleghany County to the late Roy and Helen Spicer Stout. She was a home care worker and was a devout Christian. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Shelva Faith and fiance, Timmy Quesinberry, Hillsville, VA, Charlotte "Susie" and Scott Hundley, Lewisville, NC, Karen Lynn and James Bauguess, North Wilkesboro, NC, eleven grandchildren and spouses, David and Angela Johnson, James and Victoria Bauguess and Alicia Jarvis all of North Wilkesboro, Amy Pierce, Clemmons, NC, Micki, Hannah and Chris Hundley all of Lewisville, NC, Angelia and Michael Mannon, Lowgap, NC Michael and Laura Reich both of Kernersville, NC, Ashley and Brandon Christie both of Lake Norman, NC, eleven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Ms. Kearns was preceded in death by an infant son, a sister, Shelva Jean Grace two brothers, William Stout and Fred Spicer. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, December 31, 2007 Pleasant Home Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Richard Loman. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Sunday night at Moody Funeral Home of Mt. Airy where her body will remain until carried to the cemetery for the service.
