Shirley May Meredith Wall

Mrs. Shirley May Meredith Wall, 66, Pilot Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Northern Regional Hospital. She was born in Surry County on December 30, 1955, to the late James Richard Meredith and Betty Ruth Galyean Meredith. She was a homemaker and a sweet loving person. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 13 years, Brad King; children, Wendy Michelle Wall and spouse Mary Dancy, Samuel Kevin Wall and Brandy Jean Hayes, and David Lee Smith and wife Cathy; 10 grandchildren, Kelleigh May Overby, Starlia Marie Overby, Myth Michelle Inman, DJ Smith, Patricia Smith, Joe Joe Smith, Austin Kevin Wall, Leigha Hope Wall, Savannah Faith Wall, and Christian Dancy; one great-grandson, Tony Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Annie and Jerry Thomas; brother and sisters-in-law, and Tony and Mary Meredith, and Sandra Meredith; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Gary Wall; brothers, Thomas Ray “Bucky” Meredith and Dennis Meredith. There are no formal services planned for Shirley at this time.
