Shirley Mae Willard

        Mrs. Shirley Mae Shelton Willard, age 77, of Westfield, NC passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Stokes County, NC on July 24, 1943.  She was preceded in death by her father, Hobert Shelton; her husband, Roy Davis Willard; and a sister, Mary Ann Tate.  Shirley was a member of Word of God Baptist Church in Asbury, NC.

         Surviving are her mother, Louella Bowman Shelton; one daughter and a son-in-law, Shirley and James Bowman of Mt. Airy, NC; two sons, Bobby Willard of Mt. Airy, NC, Roger Willard of Westfield, NC; five grandchildren, Michael Willard, Joshua Willard, Corey Jones, Samantha Willard, Isabella Willard; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Irene and Allen Lewis, Marilyn Irvin, Joann Marshall all of Mt. Airy, NC; one brother and sister-in-law, Johnny Ray and Gail Shelton of Lowgap, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

         Following Covid19 regulations a funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Word of God Baptist Church in Asbury, NC with Revs. J.K.
