Stacie Helen Gammons Dupree

Mrs. Stacie Helen Gammons Dupree, 85, of Mount Airy, passed away on Sunday evening, October 24, 2021, at Northern Regional Hospital. She was born on April 2, 1936, in Surry County to the late Joseph Ezra Gammons and Velva Johnson Gammons. She was retired from Sara Lee after many years of dedicated service. In retirement, she loved cooking her famous dinners for her family. On Tuesday, October 26, 2021, her only child, Jeffrey Dale Dupree joined her in heaven. She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Dupree; a grandson and spouse, Daniel and JoBeth Dupree; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and son, Mrs. Dupree was preceded in death by two sisters, Mattie “Marie” Gammons Chamberlain and Ludie Irene Gammons Marshall; and by two brothers, Troy Arnold Gammons and JT Gammons. There are no formal services planned for Mrs. Dupree at this time. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Dupree family.
