Stacy Bledsoe Jenkins

Mrs. Stacy Bledsoe Jenkins, 89, a former resident of Elkin Healthcare, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010. She was born in Surry County, June 11, 1920, to the late John and Neva Dinkins Bledsoe. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Dobson. Stacy was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Jenkins; a sister; and eight brothers. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Polly and Edward Hardy of Boonville; two grandchildren, Robin and Steve Pardue of Yadkinville and Lisa Hardy of Boonville; two great-grandchildren, Haley Pardue and Taylor Spillman; two sisters, Ola Mae Newman and Mary Ruth Beck, both of Dobson. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 5, 2010, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Dobson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Mark Newman will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
