Stephanie Ann Hernandez

Ms. Stephanie Ann Hernandez, 69, of Lowgap, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  She was born August 6, 1953, in Baltimore, MD, to the late John Spencer Lemly and Maxine Joyce Davis Lemly Kiser.  She was a warm and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, always willing to help everyone.  Ms. Hernandez loved Jesus and was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church.  She will be fondly remembered by her son, Travis Adame; her daughter and son-in-law, Santana Rodriguez and Carlos Ayala; her grandchildren, Nikolas Martinez-Adame, Allex Gomez-Adame, Macallan Adame, Hector Rodriguez-Adame, and Jacob Ayala-Adame; her sisters and a brother-in-law, Mona and Scott Whipp and Brenda Allshouse; and her brothers and sister-in-law, John Spencer Lemly, Jr. and William “Bill” and Carol Robertson.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Hernandez was preceded in death by her grandson, Carter Travis Hiatt-Adame.  The funeral service will be held Friday, March 24, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Temple Baptist Church, with the Rev. Zane Fishel officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 12:30 PM until the time of the service.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Hernandez family.
