Steve Gwyn

Mr. Steve Vincent Gwyn, age 71, of Ararat, VA, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Hillsville Health and Rehabilitation in Hillsville.  He was born on May 11, 1949 in Patrick County to the late Ellis and Icy Boyd Gwyn.  Left to cherish his memory is a sister, Patsy G. Stanley; brother and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Wendie Gwyn, Betty Jean Gwyn as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  In addition to his parents Mr. Gwyn was preceded in death by a brother, R. Wade Gwyn, brother-in-law, Barry Stanley, and infant brother, Lynwood Gwyn. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May4, 2021at 2:00 PM at the Gwyn Family Cemetery with services conducted by Rev. Chuck Harmon.  There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.  The family request no food or flowers to be sent, however, donations may be made to the Gwyn Family Cemetery c/o Jack Edwards, 5810 Wards Gap Rd.
