Susan Denise Goins Peele Dillon

Mrs. Susan Denise Goins Peele Dillon, 43, of Mount Airy, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Dillon was born September 26, 1966, in Surry County, to Samuel Harrison and Ruth Fulla Haynes Goins. She worked at Mount Airy Oil Company as long as her health permitted. Mrs. Dillon is survived by her husband, Richard Dillon of the home; a son, Justin Andrew Peele of the home; her parents, Samuel Harrison and Ruth Fulla Haynes Goins of Mount Airy; and a brother, Danny Bateman of Mount Airy. The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 4, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Sam Holder officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home, and other times at the home of her brother, Danny Bateman, 403 Massey Road, Mount Airy.
