Susan Devoy Efaw

Mrs. Susan Gail DeVoy Efaw, age 81, of Stuart, Virginia passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt Airy, NC. She was born April 6, 1940, in Rochester, New York, to the late F. Stanley DeVoy and H. Shirley DeVoy. Susan attended Stuart Presbyterian Church and volunteered at My Friends Closet in Stuart.

Surviving is her husband, Gary Efaw of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law Stephen and Jan Helling of Simpsonville, SC, and Kenneth and Jeanie Wilson of Middleburg, Fla; three grandchildren, Stephanie Parker and husband, Greg, Mark Helling, Erin Wilson, and great grandson Trey Parker.

Also surviving is her sister, Carolyn Holmes and husband Tom; their children Wendy Nugent, husband Jeff, and son Lowell, Andrew Holmes, wife Sari, and son Asher, Amy Mendez and husband Tomas Mendez, and children Alex and Claudia.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am, Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Stuart Presbyterian Church with Pastors Danny Redman and Bucky Hunsicker officiating. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
