Susan Lynn Chandler Quesinberry

Mrs. Susan Lynn Chandler Quesinberry, 50, of 427 Patton Way, Mount Airy, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Quesinberry was born August 23, 1960, in Surry County, the daughter of the late Albert Lee and Ellie Virginia Pack Chandler. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Misty Quesinberry of Cana, VA; a sister, Elizabeth "Sissy" Chandler of Mount Airy; a brother, James "Dinky" Chandler and his special friend, Angela Kepley, of Mount Airy; a special niece, Megan Goins of Mount Airy; and many special friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Quesinberry was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Buren Quesenberry. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Darren Slate officiating. Burial will follow at Midkiff Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home, and other times at the home of Chad and Misty Quesinberry, 135 Clearview Drive, Cana, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Moody Funeral Services, P.O. Box 1288, Mount Airy, NC 27030 to assist the family with the funeral expenses.
