Susie Dixon Inman

Mrs. Susie Dixon Inman peacefully passed away and entered the arms of her Lord and Savior on February 23, 2025 at the Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Inman was born October 10, 1935 in Allegheny County to the late Eva Mae Goodson Dixon and William Genie Dixon. Susie was a lifelong, dedicated member of True Word Baptist Church. She married Roger Hurtle Inman on February 26, 1971. Together they built a life full of love and memories. There was nothing more Susie loved than being a mother and Memaw and a loving wife to her husband. Above all, she loved the Lord, and her family is comforted knowing Jesus welcomed her into heaven with open arms, and she is free at last of all her pain. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tammy Bishop (Jimmy); sons, Donnie and Ricky Inman (Crystal); ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Inman was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Hurtle Inman; daughter, Teresa Gilmore; son, Randy Inman; sister Eva Mae Evans; brothers, Clyde, Roy, Earl, Garvie, Robert, Verlon, Glenn, and Everette “TD” Dixon. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at True Word Baptist Church, 1405 Toms Creek Church Rd., Mt. Airy, NC 27030 with service conducted by Rev. David Joyce. Burial will follow at Indian Grove Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church starting at 10:00 AM until time for the service.
