Sylvia Hice Blevins

Mrs. Sylvia Ann Hice Blevins,75, of Lowgap, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 7^th, 2022, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mrs. Blevins was born June 24^th, 1947, to the late Robert Woodrow Sr. and Ruth Odell Vernon Hice. She worked at Tultex Manufacturing in Dobson, NC, until eventually joining the local family business, L & H Enterprises. Sylvia was a member of Rocky Ford Baptist Church and a loyal follower of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister. Mrs. Blevins was known for her passionate love for the Lord and her faithfulness to Christ. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sherry Wilmoth; Sisters and brother-in-law, Pat and Kenneth Lowe, Becky Bandy and friend Gragy; Brother and sister-in-law, Robert “Bobby” and Kelly Hice; a sister-in-law, Lucy Hice; life long friend, Marian “Tootsie” Galyean; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blevins was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Burt Blevins; Son, Jim Blevins; Brother, John Hice; and son-in-law, Jason Wilmoth. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10^th, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Moody Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. Services will begin at 11:00 AM in the Moody Davis Chapel with Rev.
