Sylvia Lee Rudisill

Mrs. Sylvia Lee Gravely Rudisill, 84, of Cana, VA, passed away at her home April 9, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Surry County, NC, August 10, 1937, to the late Harvey Lee and Lorene Hudson Gravely.  Mrs. Rudisill was a dedicated Christian and faithful member of Westview Baptist Church.  She was a loving mother, and grandmother, sister, and friend.  She worked hard to care for her family and enjoyed their time together.  Left to cherish her memory are her children, Frances (James) Anderson, Linda (Terry) Roberts, Dave (Kari) Rudisill, and Todd (Rita) Rudisill; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; her sister Gloria Cockerham; and brothers, Buddy (Imogene) Gravely, Roger Gravely, and Michael Gravely.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rudisill was preceded in death by her husband, David Curtis Rudisill.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Epworth United Methodist Church with Rev.
