Tabatha Pardue Greenwood

Mrs. Tabatha Pardue Greenwood, age 47, of Elkin, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born January 21, 1974 in Surry County to the late William Clayton Pardue and Helen Woodring Pardue, who survives. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step father, Thomas Pardue. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Darren Greenwood, of the home; her daughters, Courtney Spurlin (Clayton McMillen) of Birmingham Alabama and Haley Spurlin of Asheville NC; her son, Graden Spurlin, of the home; and one step daughter, Hannah Hamby (Josh) of McGrady NC; a special nephew,Braelyn Pardue, of Thurmond NC; her brother Tim Pardue (Sonya) of Hamptonville NC. Tabatha was a wonderful mother, wife and friend. Her beautiful smile and bright warm personality lit up any room she was in. She will be missed terribly by her family and friends. Visitation will Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 12-2:00 P.M. at Gid Branch Baptist Church in Thurmond. the service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Brett Graham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Reverend James Hall officiating. Anyone attending is asked to please wear a mask and follow proper Covid-19 protocols. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Greenwood family.
