Tammy Lynn Tinsley

Ms. Tammy Lynn Tinsley, 42, of 715 Rockford Street, Mount Airy, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011, at her residence. Ms. Tinsley was born November 5, 1968, in Virginia Beach, VA, to William Thornton and Norma Lee Matthews Belton. She was formerly employed at McDonald's in King and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Galax, VA. She is survived by six sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerome and Amy Belton, Ryan Rakeen Belton, William Aaron Joshua Tinsley, Jordan Lee Tinsley, Ronnie Fitzgerald Woods, Jr., and Xavar George Thomas Woods, all of Mount Airy; a grandson, Noah Levi Belton of Mount Airy; and her mother, Norma Lee Matthews Belton Wray of the home. Ms. Tinsley was preceded in death by her father, William Thornton Belton. A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Galax, VA, with the Rev. Larry Johnson and Chaplain Abby Vinez officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from noon until 1:15 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
