Tamzie Marie Bowen

Mrs. Tamzie Marie Caudill Bowen, age 76, of Elkin, passed away Monday November  5, 2018  at her residence. She was born October 5, 1942 in Pike County Kentucky to the late Samantha Elkins Caudill and the late R.B. Caudill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Martin Bowen; a daughter Cheryl Lynn Tate; and a son, David Lee Bowen; and three sisters. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law; Connie and Kevin Bowe; Wanda and David Conrad; a son and special friend, Jeff Bowen and Donna Phillips; eighteen grandchildren and fifty-four great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Jay Tate; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Patty Caudill and Bob and Cheryl Caudill; sister and brother-in-law, Faye and J.D. Shew. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 1-2 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. The funeral service  will follow at 2 PM in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Reverend Tommy Shelton and Chaplin Rickey Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
