Tatsuko "Tieko" Murato Quesenberry

Mrs. Tatsuko “Tieko” Murato Quesenberry, age 90 of Lambsburg, Virginia passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at LewisGale Hospital in Pulaski, Virginia.  Mrs. Quesenberry was born on May 23, 1932, in Osaka, Japan.  Tieko was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Surviving is her husband of 49 years, Robert Joseph Quesenberry, six daughters, Gerri L. Hartzel, Karen D. Hartzel, Diane L. Hartzel, Alisha A. Quesenberry, Janet Quesenberry, Carolyne Quesenberry; one son, John Quesenberry; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Quesenberry was preceded in death by a son, Robert Quesenberry; and her first husband, Gerald L. Hartzel.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Rev. Israel Easter officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wytheville Fire & Rescue., 185 West Spring Street, Wytheville, VA, 24382, Attn: Ashley Showalter.
