Taylor Deann King

Miss Taylor Deann King, age 31 of Mount Airy passed away on Thursday morning at her home.  Miss King was born on September 27, 1990, in Surry County to Terry Dale King and the late Deana Gaye Lovill Mayes.  Taylor was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are her children, Coeby Trae Pruitt, Avery Isabella Pruitt, Karbi Brielle Hayslip, Nora Jade Hayslip, Jaxon Reece Hayslip, Elijah Cole Hayslip, Paisley Grace Hayslip, her father and stepmother, Terry and Michelle King; two brothers, Kevin Dale King, Logan Joseph King; special friend, Donny Hayslip; niece, Kailey Danielle King, and nephew, Kaden Bradley King.  Miss King was preceded in death by her mother, Deana Lovill Mayes; her maternal grandparents, Larry and Geraldine Lovill; her paternal grandparents, Joe and Joann King; and a cousin, Jessie Gravitte.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Mount Vernon Baptist in Lowgap with Rev. Bill Spurlin officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Mount Vernon Baptist Church.  Moody Funeral Service in Mount Airy is serving the family.
