Ted Gray Midkiff

Mr. Ted Gray Midkiff, age 84, of King, NC passed away on Tuesday September 1, 2021, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was born in Surry County on May 6, 1937, to the late Claude Midkiff and the late Mary Ruth Jones Woody. He was a retired Barber, and a veteran of the US Army. Surviving is his wife Patricia “Pat” Loftis Midkiff; sons and daughter-in-law, Tony Midkiff, Todd and Jeanel Midkiff; grandchildren, Tanner Midkiff, Anna and Zack Naal, Matt and Brandi Wayne; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Naal, Tristen Naal, Emma Wayne; sisters, Frances, Joan, Suzanne, Mary Lynn, Kim; brother, Richard. A graveside service will be held 11;00 AM Friday, September 3, 2021, in the Midkiff Family Cemetery, with full Military Honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Honor Guard Mount Airy Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436. Pastor Danny Poindexter, Pastor Anthony Gordy, and Junior Bowman will officiate the service. There will be no services held at the funeral home. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Midkiff family.
