Teddy Jack Holyfield, Jr.

Jack Holyfield, age 61, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, June 25, 2023, at his residence.

Jack was born on December 20, 1961, in Forsyth County, NC, to his loving parents, the late Edith White Holyfield and Teddy Jack Holyfield, Sr.  Family and friends will remember Jack as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a lifelong member of Salem Fork Baptist Church, worked at Southern States and loved his farm. Jack will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kedron Prevette Holyfield , Joshua and Brittany Holyfield (son and daughter-in-law), James Johnson and Marie Rook (son and daughter-in-law), Kanon Gilliam (bonus grandson), Teddy Jack Holyfield, Sr (father), Joan and Max Dellinger (sister and brother-in-law), Bobby and Nancy Prevette (father-in-law and mother-in-law), Maranda and Justin Atkins (niece), Jake Dellinger (nephew), Myles and Maddux Atkins (great nephews). In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Ben Dellinger.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Salem Fork Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Bobby Prevette and Rev. Sean Joplin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Fork Baptist Church, 555 Twin Oaks Road, Elkin NC 28621. Moody Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Holyfield family.
