Teena Marie (Wilson) Marshall

Mrs. Teena Marie Wilson Marshall age 58, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Marshall was born on April 21, 1964, in Surry County to the late James Walter and Launa Maebeth Sykes Lankford Wilson.  Teena was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Surviving is her husband of 23 years, Leslie Dwight Marshall; two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Turney, Angela Marie Turney; four grandchildren, Jasmine, Barbara, Taylor, Avery; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia Mills and Gary, Jane Bowman, Becky Noah and Llyod, Wanda Taylor and Terry Wright, Tandra Lawson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lee Wilson and April Quarter, Bobby Wilson and Doris; along with several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents, James Walter and Launa Maebeth Sykes Lankford Wilson.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Terry Wright officiating.  Burial will follow in the Red Bank Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Claudville, Virginia.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangement. .
