Tensie Lee Shelton Gandt

Mrs. Tensie Lee Shelton Gandt, 61, of 6614-A Hart Lane, Austin, TX, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009, at her home. She was born October 26, 1947, in Forsyth County, to Paul and Ethylene Moorefield Shelton. She was an insurance adjuster for Humana Insurance Company. Surviving are her husband, Phil Gandt of the home; her parents, Paul and Ethylene Moorefield Shelton of Mount Airy; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Diann Shelton of Germanton and Deborah and Greg Simpson of Charlotte; a nephew, Justin Smith of Advance; and a special friend, Lori Mock of Greensboro. An entombment service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 9, 2009, at Skyline Memory Gardens Mausoleum, conducted by Mr. Harvey Arrington. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
