Mrs. Terre Crosslin Conner, 56, of Garner, died Thursday night, September 2, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Conner was born August 7, 1954, in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Mildred Sutton Crosslin and the late John E. Crosslin. Terre was a member of Brooks Avenue Church of Christ. She was a gifted furniture maker, artist, vocalist, and musician. Surviving are her husband, Dennis Craig Conner of the home and minister of Brooks Avenue Church of Christ in Raleigh; a son and daughter-in-law, Nelson E. and Lynn Conner of Pilot Mountain; two grandsons, David Conner and Zachary Conner; her mother, Mildred Sutton Crosslin of Mount Airy; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda McDill of Moorpark, CA, and Tracy and Thomas Greenwood of Mount Airy; and a brother, Mark Crosslin of Gainsville, GA. Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by her father, John E. Crosslin; and a sister-in-law, Sally Clower Crosslin. A private graveside service will be held Sunday, September 5, 2010, at Oakdale Cemetery in Mount Airy. The family will have a visitation on Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Yadkinville Church of Christ, 617 West Main Street, Yadkinville. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Brooks Avenue Church of Christ in Raleigh at 7:00 PM. The family has requested that memorials be made to the Brooks Avenue Church of Christ, Children with Special Needs Ministry, 700 Brooks Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27607.
