Terry Anderson McCann

Mr. Terry Anderson McCann, 61, of Ararat, VA, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008, at his home. Mr. McCann was born February 15, 1947, in Carroll County, VA, to the late Garland and Gladys Harrison McCann. He was self-employed as a plumber and of the Pentecostal faith. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Garland McCann of Newport Beach, CA, and Chad Anderson and Jennifer McCann of Claudville, VA; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary D. and Rita McCann of Ewing, VA; a sister-in-law, Irene McCann of Salisbury, NC; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Gray and Bill Strang of San Diego, CA, Christine Stoneman of King, Joan and Sammy Rogers of Westfield, and Patricia and Blaine Ferguson of King; and the mother of his children, Becky McCann of Claudville, VA. In addition to his parents, Mr. McCann was preceded in death by a brother, Joe McCann. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Tommy Smith, and burial will follow in the Robert L. Beasley Memorial Cemetery in Claudville, VA. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
