Texie McHone Weddle

Mrs. Texie McHone Weddle, 77, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, December 11, 2009, at Rowan Regional Hospital. Mrs. Weddle was born May 17, 1932, in Surry County, to the late Willie Jessie McHone and Ocie Mae Johnson McHone. Surviving are her husband, Charles Weddle, Sr. of the home; a son, Charles Weddle, Jr. and his wife, Rebecca, of Salisbury; two granddaughters, Crystal Leigh Weddle and Cassandra Dee Weddle; two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Landen; and a brother, Bill McHone of Mount Airy. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Bruce Graham officiating. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:30 until the time to go to the cemetery for the service.
