Thelma Louise "Lucy" Moser

Miss. Thelma Louise "Lucy" Moser, 76, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, February 26, 2007, at Twelve Oaks Retirement Home. Miss Moser was born in Surry County, August 2, 1930, to Ollie H. and Elizabeth L. Midkiff Timmons Moser. She was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church and retired from Sara Lee Corporation. Surviving are a sister and brother in-law, Beulah "Dottie" and Mayor Jack A. Loftis of Mount Airy; and a host of loving cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Miss Moser was preceded in death by three half-brothers, Joe Timmons, Elmer Timmons, and Johnny Timmons. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 1, 2007, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Dr. Roger Gilbert and Rev. Joe Maye. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Midkiff Cemetery Fund, 1693 Woodbury Lane, Mt.
