Thelma Loutishie Prevette

Mrs. Thelma Loutishie Prevette, age 73 of Dobson passed away at her home on Thursday morning February 15, 2007. She was born in Surry County on September 21, 1933 to the late Aaron Franklin Draughn and the late Addie Lorine Wood Draughn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Wilburn Prevette Jr.; a sister Magadaline Harris; a brother Wayne Draughn; a nephew Jeffery Draughn. She was a member of Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church and was retired from Washington Mills in Dobson. Surviving are a Daughter and son-in-law Karen and Dan Hawks of Lowgap; a son and daughter-in-law Greg and Cyd Prevette of Dobson; four grandchildren Samantha White-Hendrex, Shawn Hawks, Derrick Selman and wife Kayla, Evan Selman; a great-granddaughter Kristena Hendrix; by one sister and brother-in-law Georgia and Spencer Wilmoth of Thurmond. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday February 17, 2007 at Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church Cemetery. Elder Avery Branch and Elder Joey Jenkins will officate the service. The family will receive friends Friday at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson from 7 until 9 PM.
