Thelma Ruth Wilson

         Ms. Thelma Ruth Gilbert Wilson, age 94 of Stuart, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart.  She was born in Patrick County on April 25, 1925 in Patrick County to the late Sebastian I. and Lizzie Dalton Gilbert.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Wilson was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin Gilbert; and three sisters, Dale Gilbert, Cornelia Gilbert and Doris Collins.  She was a member of Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church.

         Ms. Wilson is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Ruth Wilson of Stuart; two granddaughters, Pam Wright and husband, Adam, Rhonda Marshall and husband, Danny; three great-grandsons, Nathaniel, Seth and Joshua Wright; a sister, Blanche Gilbert of Roxboro, North Carolina; and special friend and roommate at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection, Frances Hazelwood.

         A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Wayside Cemetery with Pastor Mark Collins officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church, P.O.
