Theresa Ann Reece

Mrs. Theresa Ann White Reece, age 59, of Elkin, NC passed away on May 24, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born in Surry County on December 24, 1962, to Rev. Windell White and JoAnn Billings White. She was the Art Teacher and a Teaching Assistant at Mountain Park Elementary School. She was the faithful piano player, Treasurer since the age of 16 years old, and longest active member (54 years) of Welcome Valley Baptist Church. Theresa loved with all of her whole heart and wanted everyone to know Jesus as their personal Savior. She gave all the glory to God as she battled cancer and obtained eternal healing. She was preceded in death by Angel Baby Reece. Surviving is her husband, Jimmy Lindsey Reece; children, Alicia and Terry Cooper, Lindsey and Brian Harris, Heath and Morgan Reece; grandchildren, McKindsey Lloyd, Reese Harris, River Harris, Colt Reece, Kyler Reece, TeeJay Cooper, Laken Cooper; parents, Rev. Windell White and JoAnn Billings White; sister and brother-in-law, Retha and Scottie Holbrook; brother and sister-in-law, Jessie and Rissa White; several nieces. nephews, cousins and family friends. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2022, in the chapel of Welcome Valley Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Billy Jenkins will officiate the services. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Welcome Valley Baptist Church.
