Mr. Thomas Jackson Collins, 85, of Cana, VA passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home.  He was born in Patrick County, VA on May 30, 1933 to the late Victor A. and Alpha Mae Collins.  Mr. Collins bravely served in the U.S. Army from 1951 through 1953.  He enjoyed life and was never afraid of hard work.  He became an entrepreneur, operating various Restaurants’ and trucking companies.  Mr. Collins is survived by daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Collins, Bonnie Lee and Mike Fader; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy Collins, William J. and Nina Collins, Christopher J. and Roxanne Collins; step sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Billie Jo VanDyke, Eric and Laura VanDyke and Chad VanDyke; grandchildren, Billy Collins, Edward Fader, Leanne Fader, Katrina Shelkin; great grandchildren, Darien and Brooke; sisters and brothers-in-law, Josephine Norman, Barbara Jean Collins, Laura Mae and Ed Mears, Helen McKnett, Joan Poole, Debbie and Randall Butner, and Denise Liana; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leon and Rae Collins, Billie Gray and Susan Collins, Danny Collins, Roger and Frances Collins, David Collins, Mike and Cindy Collins, Gary and Kathy Collins, and Steve and Mary Collins.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Marie Moulton Collins; and brothers, Ed and Ray Collins.  Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pete King officiating.  The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Tuesday from 3:00 until 4:00 PM.  Mr. Collins interment will be at Conowingo Baptist Church Cemetery in Conowingo, MD on Friday, April 5, 2019 with a graveside service at 2:30 PM.  Family and friends will meet at Patterson and Son Funeral Home, 1493-95 Clayton St, Perryville, MD on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate any memorial contributions to be made to Woodland Baptist Church, 331 Highland Dr., Mt.
