Thomas Wade Nichols

Mr. Thomas Wade Nichols, 68, of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday night, January 28, 2025, at his home. Mr. Nichols was born March 1, 1956, in Surry County, the son of the late Gray Donald and Frankie Ann Moore Nichols. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Ray Bryant; his nephew, Lester Ray Bryant, III; his nieces, Jenny Marsh and her husband, Brian, and Kayla Richardson and her husband, Brian; several great-nieces; and several great-nephews. A service of worship and celebration of Wade’s life will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Sarah Morris officiating. No formal visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 472 North Main Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
