Thomas Wayne Wall

Mr. Thomas Wayne Wall, age 85, of Ararat, NC, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Surry Community Health and Rehab.  Mr. Wall was born in Surry County on April 14, 1934, to Roy Richard and Nannie Johnson Wall.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Surviving is his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Whitt Wall; sons and daughter-in-law, Junior Wall and Terry and Leigh Ann Wall; grandchildren, Tommy Wall and wife Lisa, Selina Bowman and husband Jason, Tracy Wall, Britney Busick and husband, Josh, Zack Wall, Tyler Wall, Dustin Wall, Riley Wall, and Leigha Wall, and great grandchildren, Adrianna Wall, Brady Wall, Hannah Wall, Seth Mathis, Justin Bowman, Peyton Bowman, Mason Busick, Brayden Busick, Brody Busick, and Chilles Busick.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Wall was preceded in death by a son, Kent Wall; sisters, Ethel Shinault and Dorothy Shelton a brother, Boyd Wall and infant baby Wall.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 14th, 2019, at Mount Zion Baptist Church by Rev. Kermit Gray and Rev. Ron Hall.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church two hours prior the service.
